Medication Reminders
Our in home caregivers cannot give out medications, but they can provide regular reminders for oral medications or injections, and can assist with pre-measured medication and the monitoring of side effects or other medical issues.
Meal Preparation
Some seniors fail to get adequate nutrition because they don’t want to bother preparing a meal and cleaning up afterwards. Thus, Arcadia home companion caregiver can prepare regular meals maintaining an healthy diet, with enough nutrition for our clients wellness when they are taking medicines. In addition, our caregivers handle all the clean up.
Light Housekeeping
Our home health companion caregivers provide vacuuming, dusting, trash removal, organizing and tidying rooms, closets and drawers, and the light cleaning of kitchens and bathrooms.
Laundry Services
We can wash, dry, fold, iron and put away clothing, bed linens, and towels for our clients which is really helpful for people who have trouble with mobility, experience joint pain, or tire easily.
Shopping, Errands, and Transportation
Arcadia in home companion caregivers will get out clients' groceries, prescriptions, or dry cleaning to help them stay independent in the comfort of their home. Our caregivers provide extra transportation for our clients who would like to run errands and socialize, all while ensuring the client’s well-being.
Recreational Activities
Our in home caregivers will take a client to a favorite activity—perhaps a nature class, bingo, or a concert—and are ready to join in a game of cards or Scrabble with the only satisfaction to make our clients happy. Arcadia tries its best to match specific caregivers to clients’ interests and habits.
Mail and Paperwork Organization
Arcadia Health Care Associates can help keep track of bills and other important documents, and organizing household mail and paperwork. For the satisfaction our clients, our home caregivers will also assist with opening and reading mail if desired.
Live-In Services
In certain situations, clients and their families may elect to have regular home care administered by a caregiver who resides in the home. Arcadia Health Care Associates can provide these special arrangements on a temporary or more permanent basis.
Family Respite Care
We can help relieve the stress of caring for a loved one by providing a much-needed break to primary caregivers (spouses, children, relatives, or friends). We aim to serve the needs of individual clients. Our respite care services can give you much needed time off.
